EXCITING NEW SCHOOL PROJECTS FOR 2019!

word lab copy News Desk2 copy spoken word

Let your children explore the playful world of words by working with The Story Cellar to create a Word Lab for your entire school to benefit from. The children will help create a space for ‘Exploration’, don their white lab coats and goggles as they find new words to replace old choices in their storytelling experiments.

Set up a role playing space where the children can report their own news stories. These can be personal achievements, school news or the literary creations concocted in their Word Lab. These news reports can be recorded and shared through interactive white boards and could even lead to thecreation of a school newspaper.

Turn your school hall or classroom into a Spoken Word performance space. Be inspired by new writing that  introduces current events told through stories and characters that your children will know and love. Our writer will explore rhythm and rhyme with their young audience finding out what they feel passionate about!
